Hugs!!! I have panic attacks also, they suck and make doing things that are nerve racking 100x worse. I am glad you went to the doctor, you are one step closer to getting this over with and getting better. Hang in there!!!!
 
My Sil had a blood clot in her leg a year or 2 ago. They said it was from her birth control meds. She had to take blood thinners for a while but as far as I know she isnt on them now.

Good luck, hope they are able to dissolve it quickly for you!

I'm glad to hear she's not on them anymore...........I was reading up on one my doc mentioned and I can't have my Captain. :pout: :lol:

I'm not on bc...........no idea what's causing this.
 
I was just thinking about you the other day. I totally get the doctor thing. I'm so glad you went. Take it one day at a time. Hope your feeling better very soon. :foryou:
 
Oh and I yelled at my DH "You're so stubborn!" when he wouldn't reschedule for me (he's the one that made the appointment because I wouldn't) he said "Yeah, and you're stubbornerererer!" Why he puts up with me I have not idea. :lol:

You'll be fine, just as long as you take your meds. DVT is serious but treatable, and be VERY AWARE of any shortness of breath. Call 911 right away if you do.

So glad you went to the Dr. (finally!) I'm sure everything will turn out fine, just follow all the Doc's directions. In the mean time I will keep you in my prayers. :hug:

oh yeah she wasnt allowed to drink alcohol while on blood thinners, but now that she is off of them she can drink again.
 
So sorry to hear this!

I didn't read through everyone's responses so I apologize if this was already mentioned.

My hubby had the same problem twice in the past 10 years (ended up in Intensive Care last time)....turns out he has a condition that makes his blood more easy to clot (it's genetic). I forget the name of it but he and many of his relatives tested positive for it.

He is not on Blood Thinners.

He's telling me now...Factor Lyden (sp?) and Protein S...so make sure you're tested for these!
