Kelly Kelly was one of Paul E's pet projects in OVW, so you can blame him for that one.
I think she's actually pretty cute, but she's "Picture cute" not like "Hey, she should be on TV cute." Maybe they can cut her from ECW and Phil can give her a site.
I had read that Vince was the one thats so "high" on her..... which I interpreted as meaning.... "Vince is shoving his **** down her throat.... so in return, he's shoving her down ours!"

The story I heard on her was that she'd been cast by a modeling agency to be part of the Diva Search (last year?), and since she was interested in wrestling anyway, she was going to get a contract, win or lose. But she dropped out of the Diva Search and instead offered to take a developmental deal and go straight to OVW. Paul Heyman liked (probably among other things) the spunk of that decision, and decided to pluck her out of OVW when they were dicing up the rosters for the new ECW.
Could be all conjecture, but it's the kind of conjecture I like.
Kane vs Big Show was a good match.... I haven't seen Batista in a couple of yrs.... but I guess it may be watchable. Of course this isn't the "Extreme Rules" match.... that honor goes to Dreamer/Sandman vs Test & Mike Knox. This is the one I'm curious about. Will they actually allow Dreamer and Sandman to have a halfway decent match.... or is this going to be another 2 minute squash.
As I say week after week.... whatever happens tonight, it's going to be more entertaining than Raw.... so I'm just gonna sit back and enjoy what little there is to enjoy! Hopefully Kelly will get her neck broken tonight.... and that will be the end of her!
Once again, I fell asleep. Tuned in in time to see Punk celebrating. Everything after that was meh. The Angle squash was fine, Shannon Moore's music is awesome, I couldn't catch the vampire's name, and the main event was deservedly crapped on.
Go Sabu, go. I like that he threw in the RVD thumb point during one of his taunts.
WOOOHOOOOO What a stinker of a main event! I think the roll of toilet paper thrown into the ring at the beginning was an omen of exactly how big of a ****fest it was going to be. Show and Big Dave had to have been somewhat rattled by the reception they recieved.... but surely even they had to've anticipated it! Obviously the match wasn't important anyway... it was only used as grounds to set up another attack by Sabu, but considering this was the Hammerstein, it would've made sense to at least give the ECW loyalists a better main event. This was by far the worst main event since ECW's return. Possibly even the worst match entirely.
Sandman/Dreamer vs. Test/Knox was good.... it almost made me feel like I was watching the old ECW for a split second.
Angle vs........ Brooklyn Brawler? Oh come on now..... that's just plain ****ing stupid. When Brawler first appeared on my screen, I would've been expecting Sandman if he hadn't already wrestled earlier in the show. I did like the headbutt into Brawler's nose tho.
Well... ok.... so there he was in his much anticipated debut.... CM Punk. Sorry, "Punk" but you seemed a bit like "Tajiri-lite" to me. I'm sure they could've gotten the real Tajiri for the same money. The match did nothing for me other than wonder why former ECW champ Justin Credible is a jobber in the "new" ECW.

Overall opinion.... Good opener, but the rest of the show made this the worst offering since the return of "ECW"
The opening match was the most ECW like match since the return.... highlighted by Dreamer being slammed (twice) into a large barbwire covered sheet of plywood!
