What's new

ECW! ECW! ECW...?

Francine looks pretty much the same, doesn't look like shes had any plastic surgery (other than her boobs) Her hairs longer, and lighter, she looks basically like she did in TNA 4 yrs ago.

The match did nothing for me other than wonder why former ECW champ Justin Credible is a jobber in the "new" ECW.

Because Justin Credible winning the ECW title in the first place was a sham of epic proportions?

Best 30 minutes of ECW since the show's inception at the beginning (Tag Team Match to CM Punk's Debut), worst last 30 minutes since the show's inception (Brawler to Main Event).

Don't get me wrong, I never thought Justin was worthy of being the ECW champion.... especially winning the belt on the heels of Shane Douglas' (the greatest ECW champion of all time) departure. But with the Impact Players, Credible was given a monster push, and was "top man" in the company for the majority of it's final days (well ok... RVD was really the top man but you know what I mean.) And that's why i find it odd that Credible's playing the role of Jobber with no more credibility of say a Stevie Richards... while Balls Mahoney (who was a much lesser player in the original promotion) is recieving a much nicer rub.

Ehhh..... ok.... nothing really surprises me at this point... I just like to point out some things that don't make a lot of sense.

I think a lot of it is just that WWE higher-ups don't like Credible. He was one of those guys that no one aside from Heyman really knew what to do with, and now that Paul E. has no pull, they're going to relegate Justin to the status they think he deserves.

For the "credibility" (nyeheh...) of the promotion alone, they should treat him as more than a jobber, because it doesn't speak very highly of your promotion to have one of your former champions looking up at the lights every night, but then again, it doesn't speak very highly of your promotion to have wrestlers from another organization main eventing your shows either. :\

Yeah I missed the first 15 minutes of it too...I didn't get home from work till about 14 after. lol

Francine looked pretty good.

I missed Kelly. :( ****it

I remember when Sabu jobbed to credible at a PPV. Credible won by doing "That's incredible" on a singapore cane.

I remember when Balls debuted...it was in an ECW "battle royal" that Sabu won. I think it's the only battle royal they ever had...what tripped me out was that at the time Douglas and Dreamer had a rivalry...and Douglas came out first...got in the ring...then they played Dreamers music...then Douglas jumped out of the ring and disqualified himself when he saw dreamer comin' down the ramp...lol good times.

For all you poor suckers that missed the first match... you may as well not bothered tuning in.. :D

Matt.... you shoulda seen it..... A blood soaked Dreamer had Kelly turned over his knee.... with her little smooth bootie facing the camera....wearing the shortest little shorts imaginable.....

And then he began to spank her cute little tushie and it jiggled beneath his hands as she squirmed and kicked her little feet and cried out for help.... and..... :lurker:

Sorry!

I tuned in just in time for the best part of the show. :D

I agree about Justin Credible. He wasn't great when he was champ but he was ECW champion and he just about loses to everybody now. Guess they need to bring Lance Storm back and team them up together again.

The Brooklyn Brwaler is still alive?! Jesus.

CM Punk was ok. Didn't see anything that justified such a build up though.

I loved it when Batista and Big Show were in the ring about to start the "main event" and the entire crowd was chanting "RVD! RVD!" that was before they were chanting "You smoke ****!" I love the NYC ECW crowd.

I wonder if Paul E. has enough sense not to go back to the corner of Swanson and Ritner for a televised event. lol

The outcome would be 40 times as worse as the Hammerstein Ballroom.

Douglas and Francine were both wearing matching green plaid pants for some reason! :D

Yeah lol thats "Classic" ECW..... Isn't that the same match w/ Douglas/Francine vs Dreamer/Belulah where Dreamer Piledrives Francine's **** right out of her top? I know Francine wrestles a cookie sheet away from Hat Guy in that match and hits Beulah over the head with it... cant remember if its the same match she hits hat guy in or not tho....

I think it's the same match. Hat guy was trying to give the cookie sheet to Beulah. Francine grabs it, hat guy pulls back, and WHAM! busts him in the face and his hat flies off. lol

That match was televised on Dec 7th 1996 :shifty: Its one of my altime most watched ECW tapes. Francine does the moonsault onto Francine, and her knee lands in Francines Thigh muscle leaving a huge bruise that would be visible for a month or more.

If you've not seen the commercially released version of that match, you've missed one of the best parts. Some idiot fan at ringside hits Douglas over the head with a steel chair, and Dreamer is the first person into the crowd going to Douglas' aid....:D He get's Douglas out of the crowd by immediatly throwing him back over the guard rail away from the crowd as Security swarms in. Francine is up on the ring apron looking down into the crowd trying to figure out what the hell is going on! I dunno why they cut all off that out from the tv show....
