Oo! Another day that actually looks like summer!
We've had some horrid heat for the past 5 days (not fun when you tend to get sick in it!), but it has finally let up today- it's supposed to reach about 79 or so today

Mostly cloudy today, but super mild. But I still wanna da sunshine.
We had a HUGE storm today, complete with hail, heavy rain, and winds gusting at an excess of 60 MPH, which were strong enough to knock down trees! Trees were even causing roads to be blocked off, and some landed on people's houses- not fun! A lot of people in town were left without power (but luckily it did not go out in this street!), and they were working to fix it earlier tonight, and it's past midnight now and still out in some places here. When I went for my run/powerwalk earlier, there were these huge tree branches all in the road and sidewalks.

Even today, the power was still out in some places! My grandmother, unfortunately, lives in one of the areas that lost power, and she says they were without it again today- some parts of town get it worse than others around here. When I ran outside again this evening, I took a different route, and there was like half a tree laying in the sidewalk!
Today's weather was pretty nice though, around 77 F or so, with a sun/cloud mix.

It was cloudy this morning but blue sky is showing in a major way this early evening. Since we are having an outdoor dinner for the whole immediate family this is very much a yay moment.
