I feel bad for those who make a living in Maine in which they depend on snow for business in the winter. But the local media in Portland doesn't see it that way. They're always talking about how great the weather is. Meanwhile, not only is the economy lousy these days-there's also only a little bit of snow.
It was yucky and rainy yesterday, as well as this morning, but it cleared up by early afternoon and we had some nice sunny moments. A bit too damp and cold to be outside for long, though.
I was originally planning to take a vacation this winter down south. However, the winter in Maine this year has been unusually mild. So I haven't had to head south yet.
This is the second day we have had truly spring-like weather. However, the weatherman is warning us that we will be reminded tomorrow that it's still winter by the possibility of snow.:cold:
Tonight and tommorrow, winter is going to make a return to Maine, as we're supposed to get 3-6 inches of snow. However, considering how mild it's been up here, spring-like weather may return sooner rather than later.
