I had it set up with my neighbor, who went to school for hair but didnt graduate but does a really good job, to cut Jon's hair. We set this up 5 days ago. Told her that once Jon gets off the bus, we will come home for a few to unwind then I will call her and let her know we would be walking over. So Jon gets off the bus, we come inside and talk about his day, then I call her and tell her we are on our way. Shes like, no, not now. WHAT?? Shes like Addie(her 10 year old) has a TON of homework. Come later. I said ok...just let me know when we can come over. WTF does us coming over have to do with her kid and homework? Anyway, we are in the middle of deep cleaning our apartment as we have a HUD inspection coming up very soon(hurray for rental assistance!!) and I didnt want to get in the middle of something and not want to stop, kwim, so Jon and I played and all that. An hour and 15 minutes pass (!!!) and I text her and say....so do we need to reschedule or.....??? Shes like yeah, my grandson is here and its crazy...(she has a 24 year old, a 10 year old and a 5 year old, her grandson is also 5) So I bit my tongue and put my phone in my pocket so I wouldnt text anything ****y to her. WHAT THE HELL? Why are people so rude and inconsiderate of other people's time? What really pisses me off is that we were exchanging services...she was going to cut my hair and Jonny's hair in exchange for a photo session for free. **** THAT. I am gonna take Jon to where I have been taking him to get his hair cut and HAPPILY pay the 10 bucks....even if we dont have it to spare. The kid needs a hair cut BAD. She can get her pictures done elsewhere. I am on edge about not hearing from Portrait Innovations(they are closed on Mondays, I tried calling) and now this? GRR! Ugh, I need to go clean now.
