so what are you thinking right now?

we are assuming it game from a house 2 doors down that we THINK is a drug house. No proof though. The other neighbors suggested it came from there and the cops said they have been to that house several times as well. I want to put up a brick wall on that side to protect my babies!!!

OMG, jschwemi! Any idea where it came from- like is there a rowdy neighbor?

So glad they are all safe!

Ooh, big day out, huh? :giggles: Putting on a bra for the special occasion? Nevermind, forget I even asked.

Will prolly have to.............supposed to get pretty hot today so I won't be able to wear a jacket. :pout:

I don't blame you. Do you have plans to move or just thinking about it?

we would LOVE to move ( need more space, better neighborhood) but our house is dropping in value by the day. Right now it's worth about half what we paid for it:pout:

Yeah I hear ya............we're upside down on our old house too, but there's no way in hell I was gonna miss out on this great buying market so we're renting out our old house. Best decision (money wise) we ever made. Maybe that's something to consider? :9:

YAY!!! DD is feeling so much better than yesterday morning!! She had a rough morning yesterday and her stomach hurt her all day. She barely ate a thing. But she has kept everything down for 24 hours now and hasn't had the runs in about 20 hours.

Still kept her home to baby her though :) We're watching Monsters, Inc and then we'll paint her nails.

Hey, jschwemi, if you decide to rent your house out & want to buy in Homewood, I'll make you a deal. ;) Friendly walgreens & jewels here.... :giggles: Walkable area, fenced yard, 4 bedrooms with a "kids wing." :) Just think, you could pee in peace 'cuz you'd have your own bathroom! :bliss:

not judging, when you have to do what's in the best interest of your kids, there is also strategic default.. :quiet:

I am thinking, OH MY GOD, THIS WEATHER IS AMAZING!!!!!

:bliss::bliss::bliss::bliss::bliss::bliss::bliss:

I know, I keep saying it!

I'm also thinking, Ugh, DD18 & I are cleaning out the garage today, which means I'll be "out front" and exposed to my neighbors. I need a neighborless farm. :surrender:

7 SB's thanks! :flowers:

A strategic default is the decision by a borrower to stop making payments (i.e., to default) on a debt despite having the financial ability to make the payments.
This is particularly associated with residential and commercial mortgages, in which case it usually occurs after a substantial drop in the house's price such that the debt owed is (considerably) greater than the value of the property — the property has negative equity or is underwater — and is expected to remain so for the foreseeable future, such as following the bursting of a real estate bubble. Such borrowers are called walkaways.[1] The process of strategically defaulting on a home mortgage has been colloquially called "jingle mail" — metaphorically, one mails the keys to the bank

how do I put an image in my post?

Copy the url of the picture (right click on the picture, click "properties" and then copy the link.) Then, click on the little picture that looks like mountains in the row that starts with the Bold, Italics, Underline choices for your post. Paste the url into the box that shows up when you click the mountains picture.

Walla! :p

dd4 and dd5 were playing in their room today, dropped a bible behind the bed and moved the mattress to get it. They discovered a hole in the wall and came and got me. yup sure enough a hole not caused by children, but by what i thought was a BULLET! went outside, hole through the siding through the wall into the girls bedroom. DH comes home and takes a look digs around and discovers that it was a pellet from a high powered pellet gun. Flag down a cop (who just happens to be driving down our street) they go in, take pics verify it's a pellet. Not much they can do. So scary! It is right where dd4 sleeps. Doesn't even seem real. Talk about moving, i CAN'T WAIT to move! Wish our house hadn't dropped 60,000 in value since we bought it......

How scary! Glad everyone is ok.

This pregnancy needs to be OVER.... Woke up this morning with PUPPP, which is some type of itchy rash about 1% of pregnant women get. Totally harmless, usually seen in the last trimester and goes away a week or so after the babies are born. I swear I would take 10 single pregnancys over this twin one.

:huggy: I've loved my 2 single pregnancies, but hated the twin pregnancy.

we roasted giant marshmallows last night. It was so nice out.. no bugs, beautiful starry night. I had forgotten how good roasted marshmallows are when they get that crispy brown coating :dance:Even better on graham crackers with Fannie May dark chocolate bars. Plus, because it's dark out, no one can see when you get marshmallow on your face. It hardly mattered that the little schnauzer next door barked at us half the time.

I'll take it! Wait, where's Homewood?

Next time, toss him a few marshmallows - he may be more cooperative. :giggles:

Maybe this 14 year old will rent you the next house she buys https://www.npr.org/blogs/money/201...-year-old-girl-just-bought-a-house-in-florida

Me thinks it is more about getting press for mom's real estate career

Wow, she may just be the next Donald Trump - from the article:

As I was working on this story, I kept thinking that when a 14-year-old kid can buy a house, the market must have hit bottom. I kept saying this to Willow, and she'd sort of vaguely nod.
But it's hard for Willow to see herself as symbolic of anything. To a 14-year-old kid in Florida, the housing collapse is basically the only world she's known. It's the landscape. It's a Craigslist hobby.
She's thinking she may save up for a second home
