so what are you thinking right now?

The neighbor kid is such a little PITA!!! (I'm thinking a worse word) He's always ****ing up cause he doesn't think and his parents have taught him no common sense!!!

He and my son were playing DS's room. I check on them and see a filthy wall. The kid was slapping some sticky hand toy thing against the wall. Then decided to get it wet in the bathroom sink (with filthy hands). So now the sink, counter and wall is all muddy. I kinda went off on him and told him to clean it up which he did half **** so I brought him back and showed him what he missed then I finished cleaning it up. THEN while I'm STILL IN THE ROOM, the kid picks up ANOTHER toy and bounced it against the wall. Then I really lost it!!! I said look at these nice clean walls? Do YOUR bedroom walls look like this or are they all filthy?! He sheepishly said "Well they're a lil dirty." NO ****!!! :ranting:

Then I made him and DS go outside to play!!! :gah:

He does this kinda **** ALL THE TIME both inside and outside. I'm sure he thinks I'm a total ****..........oh well.

I just spent 4 hours cleaning the basement with the boys. Lord help me and we aren't finished. Santa really doesn't need to come this year LOL. So much crap!

Is it 5:00 yet? :surrender:

I finally told the PITA kid to go home. He started crying. :fart:

The Christmas TRU catalog came in the mail the other day. DS10 circled like $800+ worth of toys for Santa to consider. :surrender:

well dh is currently toying with the idea of owning 2 houses and either attempting to rent (i'm afarid it will get trashed) or just sitting on this one for awhile. Or possibly just walking away (so many of my neighbors have done that, moved to bigger better places and are super happy) I don't know how all that works though.

We really want to move (we need space!) but with so many empty houses that are being bought for under $30,000 and flipped we can't possibly compete!

The builder that we're working with offers a couple different programs to entice current homeowners to buy a new build house. One is a program where the buyer (you) sign up with a rental management company that guarantees you rent for your existing house for something like 5 or 6 years, even if they can't find a tenant and your house is vacant.

The builder pays a commission to this management program, so they will not pay a commission to the management program plus a real estate agent on the sale of the new house (basically you can't bring a real estate agent with you when you shop for the new build). It does not affect the cost of the new build house; they factor some marketing expense into the bottom line of the cost of every house -- unless of course you can't negotiate without the help of a real estate agent. So just do your own research on what you should be paying for a new build before you sign. We negotiated for a boatload of incentives; it was almost ridiculous.

I just got a flier in the mail today (too late for them ) for a different local builder that is offering a similar program, probably through the same management company. We didn't go through this program, but I can ask/find their website for you. We went through a different program the builder uses where we will get a rebate/kickback on the sale of our old house after we close on the new one.

I know not everyone is interested in a new build, but it could be worth considering if you want to move and can't sell right now.

Also I hope your eye is feeling better!! :foryou:

I wish I knew how!

http://crochet.about.com/od/learntocrochet/tp/crochet-for-beginners.htm

Every time I start a new project I have to google how to make each stitch, but after about an hour or so, I do ok on my own. I'm not perfect or fast, but that's ok.

My grandma crocheted a lot. She made an afghan for each of her grandkids, then she moved on to making lap blankets for nursing home patients. Her stitches were so perfect and she flew through them so quickly.

Totally the reason we are kidless!! :giggles: ...but , you love them!

5:00 is an hour earlier here. :giggles::hiphip:

do you free-feed or do you give them a limited amount of food at mealtimes? We don't free-feed and they're ALL very interested in treats. Jody also likes a Cheerio or two; maybe it's the crunchy? or the novelty of it? not sure.. Spot will get a small piece of chicken or cheese (tiny, really) as an occasional treat from me because he's so cute. Sometimes they like a piece of popcorn too; sometimes not.

good luck!

We have our last childbirth class tonight. The class started out with 8 couples. One dropped out last week (had their baby a little early). Another one is 38 weeks now and she had contractions last week (possibly BH), so we'll see if she is there tonight. I'm 15 years older than she is :giggles:. DH and I are like the senior citizens in the class. Jeez, at high school graduation everyone is going to think we're the grandparents

I'll usually put out one can of cat food in the evening and then they have a bowl of dry food downstairs to graze on during the day. It's very rarely empty. I had been leaving some treats out and they would pick at them but never showed much interest until these.

Wow - you're already finished with the childbirth classes. This little one is fast approaching! :cartwheel:

At what age does he learn that his folks are Santa?

Not sure....................not this one I guess. He's a totally sweet lil guy. DS12 "knows" but doesn't talk about it..............he likes to play along.

I feel like you have to believe to receive. :)
