so what are you thinking right now?

Just took 4 big contractor black bags full of winter coats, boots, hats, scarves, mittens and gloves to Howard Brown Donation store. :pout:
 
DH and DS are working in the garage, Love my alone time on my floatie in the pool, only noise is the birds chirping and the hum of the pump.
 
Right now I'm thinking why is mother picking today of all days to bother me with her sillyness. She called me this morning to ask if I could look up airfare prices from here to San Fran. Sure Mom. Calls me back to say, I want to book those tickets today but since she is not comfortable doing so at the library & does not have a computer at home(mind you my ex & I gave her a brand new one years ago that she never used because her & my grandmother couldn't agree on where to put it!) she wants to come over & do it here. Ummmm...ok. I only had a million & one things I want to do, but sure why not come on over.

My house looks like a tornado ran through it(which I'm sure I'll hear about passively aggressively of course) & I'm beat from all the Walgreens shopping so I'm starting to get a little cold. I also got maybe 4 hours of sleep last night which is nothing for me as I require at least 6 to function properly usually.

I'm not even sure why she's trucking out to me. My brother is so much closer to her. I'm hoping to get her in & out in under a hour so I can get on with getting on. I might just throw her a bunch of free **** so she'll scoot quicker. :giggles:

I normally turn on the AC when I know she's coming because she is always hot, but I didn't today. I pulled a fan down for her & got her ice cold water, but after I booked her tickets she ran out of here saying it was too hot. No gift bags required. :snicker:
 
SERIOUSLY?!?!?! So I finally drag myself to my classroom to get it set up... have all DDs with me. DD8 FALLS FLAT ON HER FACE. blood everywhere. pray for her cuz she loosened 2 permanent teeth and a baby tooth (too early...might have to be surgically removed). She just got braces last week and the ortho and the dentist both said the braces probably saved her teeth. Went to ER for lip...borderline needed stitches...doc decides not to stitch since the split was on the pink of her lip. Have xrays for teeth on Thursday to see what damage is deep. can't eat or brush teeth. Can only eat things without a fork/spoon. SO she had *some* mashed potatoes.

I am praying for no nerve damage so she doesn't lose her permanent teeth!!!!
I don't know how the hell I am going to get my classroom set up and ready to go by 14th. feeeeeeel my stress..... my poor baby!
 
Holy **** Autumnsky that sucks! I'm so sorry! I will say a prayer for her and for you. My DD's teeth look horrible and I keep thinking she'll need braces...but she doesn't even have all her permanent teeth yet. She will be 8 this next yr. I am sorry please give her a big hug from us.
