so what are you thinking right now?

I hate that new Chanel No 5 commercial with Brad Pitt. He keeps talking about how "you are my everything, blah, blah, blah ..." but when I look at him, all I think about is him getting involved with Angelina Jolie when he was still married. I don't think having him in their commercials is going to make me buy their perfume!
 
i wonder what planet i landed on this morning...my dad s on my ipad on u tube looking up lady gaga and moms on the laptop on u tube jammin to gagnam style ... holy ****!!

I am still not normal since the tap and blood patch. I'm trying to get up and move around, but my back hurts so bad after being up for a couple hours and I can't get rid of the nausea. My head did stop hurting a few days after the patch, I'm so thankful. I was just telling dh that I have had a lump sensation in my throat for a few days and it's hard to swallow. I have gerd so I thought that is obvious, even though I never got a lump in throat with it before. I know some people do. I took several prilosec to see if it helps and nothing. I do not want to go to my doc as he does not give a ****. It's not personal, he doesn't care as a doc for any of his patients anymore. Our last ER visit the doc, different from the one who did tap I wanted to slap. He sat with me and dh and said, you had a spinal tap and having problems healing, what do you want me to do about it. dh was ready to throttle him. He called anesthesiologist and he said to wait one week more for all symptoms to disappear or come back because blood patch failed. I really don't want to go back, but I don't seem to be getting much better...just kind of stuck with the back pain, bad nausea and lump in throat.

I think I'm going to quit my job. I don't feel up to going back, but they don't know that and they gave me the week off after I said I would see them Wednesday. They are trying to save a few bucks, but I'm not amused. I have had several people contact me for jobs in the past 2 weeks, I think I need to move on. I miss my old family that were so grateful for all I did for them. I really loved, loved their kids. They wanted to name me as guardian of the peeps if something happened to them. I miss my little Liam, he felt like mine. :surrender:

My ds 21 will not dare speak like there is no santa, he knows better. dd17 likes to rub it in my face and say, there is no santa so...can I have blah blah.....I say noooooo, you don't believe, you get nada. Santa is the big spender in this house. My dd tries to get ds to say it and he won't. He says, shut up or we get nothing. :snicker:

I think I'm going to try to find new doc tomorrow because this just isn't getting much better.

Ummmm, mrsmom? Rebecca? yeah, the who doctor thing...get your **** in for an exam!!! I almost off'd myself by missing exams for 3 years and got lucky when my tumors turned out benign. I was crying a lot thinking why did I chance this when I have kids and especially having a special one that needs me for years to come. I was soooo angry with myself. It is not worth it. You love your kids. Now get off your **** and call doc and just take care of business for the kids.

I'm sure I speak for many here when I say, I'M NOT ASKING!!! Get yo **** to doc! and yes, we know where you live....sorta...:snicker:
 
Really want to know what I am thinking? SCREW ALLL OF YOU! (Not the CW peeps). All my friends on FB and through email are like- ohhh we will go to your house if the weather gets bad or we are out of power for days. You are always prepared. WTH? WHY can't people prepare themselves? Pain in the asses!!!

Oh ya, DS was SHOCKED when the tooth fairy didn't come after he busted my balls one year about her not existing! :dunce:he learned good not to say a word about the fat man with the beard :lol:

Did she eventually have to get the patch to stop the spinal leak? if not, did she get better on her own? I am 2 weeks and 1 day out from the tap today, and and 10 days I think since I got the patch. The nausea is really bad today and yesterday, but Mon and Tues was tolerable. I don't understand this at all.

So update on my eye. Cut it last night on a sitck at like 11:30pm had 2 smallish woodchips that DH was able to get out. Eye was still in pain, is still had pain and antibiotic drops from having PRK seveal months ago so put those in and went to bed. This morning still in pain. Eye doctors don't open till 10am so waited around till 10 to start making phone calls. The eye place i always went to closed last month. Called sam's club "sorry all doctors on vacation till monday" great. Call sears optical frankfort "sorry all doctors out till sunday" DOES ANY EYE DOCTOR WORK DURING THE WEEK??? Call sears optical bradely (had to teach in kankakee today anyway) lady said she could get me in at 10:45 so i rush to get all the kids packed up and in the car. Get there doc looks at it says there are several scratches on my eye, but they are not on the cornea so if they scar they will not affect my vision. My outside eyelid is also scratched. Gave me an rx for steroids and antibiotic drops. I passed on the paid drops cause he said it would affect my vision. So just in pain, hopefully will heal quickly. But really last night i thought i poked my eye out it hurt SOOOO bad!

She did NOT get the patch. She was in rediculous amounts of pain. She did get Zofran at least 2 times a day so she would not feel the nausea as bad. Do you feel better laying down? My daughter spent 48 hours with her head 30 degrees or something like that below the rest of her body. Kinda like a backwards Craft matic bed. She did feel crappy on and off for almost a month.
 
FYI- If you are in the northeast storm path- IF YOU HAVE FAMILY THAT TAKE MEDICATION HAVE THEIR PRESCRIPTIONS FILLED, FILL THE TANK OF YOU CAR, HAVE ENOUGH FOOD FOR AT LEAST THREE DAYS, KEEP PETS INDOORS, REMAIN INSIDE DURING THE STORM.
