My future kids are coming over today. :bliss: I hope my DH can get out of work early, he missed the last visit. I guess I should tidy up the house & get out some of their toys. :)

Those are it exactly the ones in the yellow bag are the best! Aside from Pringles...unless I'm have dip, then sometimes I like the ones with ridges...I'm getting carried away :giggles:

the candy bar was marked $4...don't know if there was any discount on it. If not, candy bar and a candle and u are good to go.

Yay!!! How long will they be staying? I hope you will be able to post their pics someday (or at least PM them to nosey peeps like me). :)

No idea.:pout: We're at a total standstill with the federal gov't & the background check system. We'd heard about a month ago that everything had been resolved & they were releasing background checks soon. Today we were told that everything is frozen & they are not releasing anything to private agencies, only DCFS. Sooooo...I think I will look into getting licensed through DCFS & then transferring back to our private agency. IDK what to do, to be honest. It's getting to the point where DH & I need to talk about what to do. There were 3 other families interested in them, I feel bad keeping them in limbo like this when they could already be with a family. :pout:

They just stayed for a few hours...played with their toys, played with DD14, played with the dogs, ate dinner like little savages :gah: and they just left. :p

My bff stopped by for a few minutes as they were banging on the piano & the living room looked like it threw up Barbies. She was like, "Ummmmmm....you guys are nuts. I have to leave. Now." :snort:

I can't post their pictures. I can if we adopt them, but not while they are wards of the state. ;)

:lol: Yes, it really is. IDK about all of this Barbie crap...I couldn't get into it with my girls either. Their messy hair drives me insane. :surrender: Even as a kid all I wanted to do was cut their hair. :p But Legos- OMG! So much fun!!! :bliss: Of course the boy is like, "You're doing it wrong! When will DH be home?!" :snort:
 
I wish we lived closer. My DS10 is all about leggos and plays very very well with younger kids. They would have a blast. Mebbe when you get them for good, we can get together. :)

Oh and I was a Barbie chick so bring it on and I will be on cloud 9! :lol:

Are they still far away, or are they close enough to drive? Will you go see the baby?
