You know how this goes. I gently say, yeah, nooo, kinda tired..gotta get up early. They want to keep the night going so the c'mon's start. I'm not 16 and don't like people trying to get me to play when I'm done playing for the night.
 
Just wen through DD's playroom. This girl has everything. Wound up with one bag of garbage and three bags for her friends to go through. Anything left will be donated. She wants to sell her FP doll house, cars and animated stuffed animals. Feels so good to accomplish things around the house!
 
really???? so you think you are helping me by bringing up the next carton of eggs from the fridge downstairs. Umm, how can you not see the new carton that I already brought up yesterday which is the next one to be used???? its in the same drawer???? oh yeah and thanks for using 6 eggs from the new carton so now I will have eggs expiring from the carton you were supposed to use. jerk...
 
So glad I didn't go with DH to BILAW's impromptu get together...got a nice nap in and now am going to go out and run some more errands before I have to go to work...so nice not having to deal with those trolls!:snicker:

I'm sorry, that came across wrong. She makes fun of me because my house is usually pretty clean. Not always "eat off the floor" clean, but pretty clean. Her house mostly looks like a bomb hit it, but she is always doing stuff for others instead of her own family. I like to have fun too, but when I always have the mess to clean up and it always goes past my bedtime it irritates me. I think I'm getting old and crabby. I just don't have the energy anymore and it woud be nice to go to someone elses house, eat, drink have laughs and 10pm oops, my bewitching hour....goodnight! Even when I repeatedly yawnnnnnn they don't get it. Blood dripping from my eyes and glazed over and the conversation just drones on and on. Then the 30 minute goodbye at the door. Get the hell out already. I'm done now and feel better. Had to get that out.

I tell my late night friends that I wake up at 4:30 am and offer to give them a wake up call. Usually they say "goodnight" pretty quick after that :)
 
We had a party about 15 years ago and we had a friend stay until 5 am! :faint:I didn't want to have to say :gtfo: so I sat up talking with him. My lovable dh said, goodnight and went to bed. I was so pissed off that he did that to me. I lived on a very quiet street with little traffic tucked away in a subdivision. He was completely smashed, but driving wasn't an issue because he lived across the street. I put his **** out the door at 5 am. His wife told me he didn't get home until 7am. When we talked to him he was :lol: saying he was too afraid to cross the street for fear of being hit by a car, so he stood at the curb trying to cross for 2 hours. We laughed our asses off.
 
wondering if i buy a frozen turkey today, can i let it sit in the fridge till saturday or is that too long? (no room in the freezer, having thanksgiving on saturday)
 
Since you are buying it frozen it will need a few days to defrost before cooking. My mom always said 24 hours per pound to defrost. (that's her rule, feel free to google)

I just spent 4 hours at Action Territory with 12 tween boys. :surrender:

Mrs.mom, thought of you this morning as I picked up from last night. Found my bottle of Captain empty sitting on counter. That explains the headache this morning.

Getting old sucks
 
Gotta bribe them with food (like dogs or small children)

I'm trying to figure out what to mix with my cheap cake vodka....hummmmmm
