Oh my god I decorated my room with posters and pictures and stuff and it genuinely looks so amazing, can't even deal with it :D
 
Vaccinations have been proven to be dangerous in some cases. It's stupid, but then so are people.
 
Vaccinations, dangerous? They have eliminated some diseases completely, and lowered others considerably.
You should try picturing a population refusing to vaccine their babies and watch the world go old as the infants are swallowed with diseases like meningitis, hepatitis B or tetanus. o.O
 
Vaccinations are basically inflicting a [weakened] form of a disease upon a healthy subject. Sure, it usually works. Sometimes it doesn't. It's rare, but the rare cases get publicized a lot more.
 
Well, it's basically the point of a vaccin; making the body create white cells against said disease in case it affects the healthy subject suddenly. :P
And yep they do; media's always been like that. It's so annoying ._.
 
One example would be the polio vaccine. In rare cases it can inflict paralysis. Not a great thing to know as a parent, really. When you have a child, you worry about them constantly and you don't want to put them through any unnecessary pain or suffering. When there are possible side effects of that measure, I can understand why people would want to avoid it.

I'm bummed out that we can't disable certain things on the forum.

I'll have a look into it tomorrow. Definitely can enable the rep function, but not sure about post liking and post count.
 
It mostly just bugs me because I see "Notifications: 1" and think someone's talking to me, and in actuality it's just an alert I'd rather not have.

This omg I hate it when I have to see what post they liked can't there be an x next to the notification or something so we can close it? Not that I don't appreciate them, it's just irritating to have to click on it for it to go away.

No work for me. Second day. :( Been sick again since Wednesday! Was going to work today, but my spleen started hurting again and I am super dizzy and nauseated. Barely slept last night.
