My college bag has a pool of chocolate milk in the bottom of it. My notebooks have been soaking it up nicely. Goodbye, chemistry notes and past papers!
Hate bottles that don't seal. This'll be fun to clean out..

Gerbils are digging, which is fine, but they're kicking all the shavings out and it's all falling on the floor and bfbwayhciabca[c[jaca.
 
I've just cello-taped cardboard to the sides of the wired part of the cage...then the hyper/aggressive one decided to kick the shavings out towards the door, which I didn't cover. -_-

I can't really take the top off now unless I feel like replacing the cello-tape each time, which I don't, so I'll either think of another solution or just clean the tank with it on.

If you put in a little less sawdust it's a bit better, there's not so much that can reach the sides when they dig about.
Give them loo roll tubes. Makes up for the sawdust when they've chewed them up and saves money on bedding, too.
 
Aye, same cage.
I just put in the whole bag of shavings since they like to burrow; they don't do it much though lmao. I give 'em plenty of toilet tubes and paper, which seems to keep 'em happy.
 
I think we tried a ball with my previous two Gerbils, but they never really bothered with it (much to young Kirk's disappointment). I might give these guys a shot in one.

At the moment mine are just sleepy. xD
 
Three A1 exams done, two to go :)

That English exam was awkward. I love Jane Eyre and so tried hard on a three page essay for that and then got to a Spies creative writing task where I had to "write from the narrative viewpoint of Mrs Hayward". Jdjdjjejjs
I find her so difficult to write as because her realisations in the book aren't established very clearly and I'm very unsure about how she feels about what she's doing with Uncle Peter and how she feels about the Keith and Stephen relationship. I only wrote like two pages and struggled to write that much. The creative is worth 45 marks and the essay was only worth 30 so here's hoping I at least get good marks on the essay.
