What's new

How old do I look, really?

In my experience, women see women much differently than men see women.

You'd probably be better served asking men. Men will more commonly be "brutally" honest. Based on the history here, I don't think you'd like that form of honesty.

Your "age" changes from one photo to another. What you look like in person would most certainly be yet another difference from any of these photos.

I would really like your opinion, and the opinions of any other men on here. And yes, I would say I look somewhat different in person.

WAYYYY too long!

I agree.

Really? I really liked it long. I ended up wearing it up most of the time though.

What's the point of having it long if it is up most of the time? My mom had hair longer than this - long enough so she could almost sit on it - and parted down the middle. She wore it up most of the time. Quite frankly, I thought it looked boring. She had a hard time getting her hair cut, changing it was hard. I took her to my stylist one day when she wanted to get her hair done for my brother's wedding. Mom hated it when she was done, (thought she took off too much, but the stylist did it slowly, kept asking her how much to take off). Cut, layers, highlights, and she looked like a new person - and a lot younger too. Everyone liked it except mom, it just took her a while to get use to it.

speaking of Kody, would you like to have part time attention Liz?

if you're part of sister wives, you don't get laid every night so you'll have a lot of 'me' time.

does that sound good?

I don't like it Liz,

I see you look like a candidate for sister wife with that hair length.

Exactly what I thought! Liz, that hairstyle does nothing for you....it's just blah. If you want to be blah, then stick with that. If you want to look current and sexy, put some layers to give it some body and movement. Too bad you don't live closer, I would love to give you a makeover to show you your full potential.

Do me a favor.....go to ulta, get some make-up----I use their black eyeshadow as eyeliner. Just use an eyeshadow applicator to put it on like eyeliner. It's much easier to do it this way in my opinion. Put on some blush, mascara, lipstick and part your hair on the side. Take a picture so we can compare looks.

I know I can't make you post, but I would really like to hear what you think.

no matter how hard I try I always end up here:

You're hair in post #74 looks very pretty, silky and shiny, BUT it takes more than pretty hair to complete a look.

I agree with the others...layer your hair for movement, add some highlights (what have you got to lose!!), change your makeup and SMILE.

I like the photo of you on the bed with your dog. You look nice, relaxed and you actually look happy, which is a big part of being attractive.

Play around with different hair styles and makeup and post another photo for us::please::.

How old do you look? I would say 22.

When I was 17, I could buy beer with a little pushing on my part since I didn't have ID. I would get questioned, but I could buy it at certain places for my friends.

Then at 24, I couldn't.

You need something other than pin straight hair. Makes your face look longer and your forehead look bigger. I suggest bangs swept to the side, not straight across with more body or curls:

Well said.

Really? Do people still think like that? I am not trying to argue... just curious if everyone feels that way. That would be sad if everyone felt that way, because I am 36 and have long hair because of my face. I have a big face & look HORRIBLE with short/medium length hair. I just don't have the face for it. Even my husband cringed when he saw an old picture of me with a short haircut, and I was 10 years younger! All of my friends agree that I look much better with long hair. Most of the time it is in a ponytail or bun, so it's not down often.

Nothing wrong with long hair but it needs a style. Side part, some layers.

Not long as in post 74. I just saw that. reading posts going back. Pic 74 is not flattering at all.

You need a little color, I'm thinking coloring your hair is too drastic for your comfort level. Maybe go to the make up counter and get someone to match and teach you to use an eyebrow pencil as well as the shadow & eyeliner. I think bangs would work. You have the same coloring and hairline as Helen Hunt, see what a difference both of those make for her in these pictures? Also, I don't think the pink lipstick suits your coloring. I think a more earth tone would compliment your coloring (pic 3)

Okay, I've been thinking, and I think I actually will do something with my hair. I just don't want it short or any short layers. I don't know of any good stylists though, so I will be taking a chance with whomever is available. This is going to get expensive between the hair and makeup.

try the stylists at Ulta or JCP. if you have the Ulta membership card (free to register), you get 20% discount on your first visit. I think it starts at 35 at Ulta. JCP may cost a little less and there are coupons for salon visits so check your paper.

if you have Trade Secrets at the mall, check it out if they still have the $25 haircut with 7 foil highlights deal.

Do Ulta stores have stylists? I think our Ulta store near here is new. I am going to get the highlights and lowlights too, so that is what will be expensive. I don't think we have Trade Secrets.

I also bought some earrings today and some better eye shadow and eye liner. I bought black eye liner. Should I have bought brown? I so don't know about stuff like this.
