I ditto that....I wanted to go to Jewel first thing, but it's so darn foggy out!
Drove about 8 hours last night to pick up my nieces and nephew so they could be home for Thanksgiving. The last 1.5 hours was in the fog.
Now I have work and school out of town today. I'm leaving extra early because of the fog :surrender:
I'm down to about 5 boxes left to unpack!
...in the kitchen. at the rest of the house.
Hope you get better soon.Feeling so rotten...aching all over and the perles helped a little w/my coughing last night...really depressed since I just want to be healthy for Thanksgiving. Have to try to drive to my parents tomorrow and just not feeling well...considering going to the ER. And I have the worst pain in my lower back on top of everything else.
We did a butterfly garden too and kids lived it. My kids also love art/crafty kits
thanks. I am hoping they like it. It's tough shopping for gifts when all they ask for is gift cards. I could get on board with that once they're teenagers... but not now.
One of the best gifts I ever got when I was younger was a grow-a-frog kit. I set the little tank up, then mailed away for the tadpole and watched it morph into a little frog, day by day.
KG, just have DH stick it all in the basement, you won't miss it. On my second search, I found the extension cords and a whole box of kitchen stuff. It still has the ONE Jewel pan in it that I got with the stickers and it is sealed in the original packaging. What a great promotion. :snort:
Also found some Thanksgiving window clings that I forgot I had, so I put them up with DS, just in time for Thanksgiving!
Sometimes, alright most times, Karma is a ****. Today, not only was Karma sweet, i got to see it play out! Right time, right place... love it.
That is the best!I can't express in words how happy I am that we have a basement. DH has done exactly this. Except the stockpile of dishwasher rinse aid is in a random box down there and he can't/won't find it. I'm not going looking for it either. :girl:
As I'm unpacking, I am throwing away a lot of crap I realized I don't use or don't want. I'm finding that much of it is stuff my MIL or aunt gave me that I didn't want or use, but I'd kept out of guilt up until now. I'm not gonna lie, it feels great to throw it away/donate it.
Stupid nonstick cookware/mushroom brush/XXX that I never use... it has a lot of nerve, taking up drawer/cabinet space in my kitchen that could go to something I actually use. This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for my freedom, and that includes freedom from guilt.
Just know, I am smiling today. Not gloating but its been a long day coming to see this person served:bee:
A place to debate everything and anything!
