What's new

so what are you thinking right now?

Someone is calling my house 20+ times a day and hanging up...annoying!

I called the number (have caller ID) and they hang up.

WTF!?

All the info that gives me is that it is a landline.

It creeps me out because they only call when no one is home

I would call the non-emergency phone # for the cops and explain it. it may put your mind at ease and may make the pranker quick the bs.

My phone number is VERY close to a local rehab center and I often get wacky calls but not this many in 2 days. I've got a call into them to try to see if they know who it might be.

If that doesn't work I'll be calling the cops.

Drama..... :words: :words: :words: :words: Tired of it....

A nap is sounding fan-frickin-tastic but is added to the impossible pile ****!

Really can't take this martial arts class anymore. Actually, I loathe going to any class that I sign DS up for. It took all my strength tonight to keep from crying. DS is constantly being called out because he doesn't pay attention, jumps around, runs around, etc. After his first episode of not going with the group I thought he was rather well behaved for the rest of class (not perfect, but pretty good for him). He missed getting stripes last week, b/c we were out of town, so he was supposed to get them this week. The teacher didn't give them to him b/c he wasn't paying attention. Ummm....he did pretty darn well for the rest of class and he is 3. I'm just worried that he is always going to be the kid that's name is constantly being called by the teacher and that all of his peers will perceive him as the kid that is annoying and always in trouble.

:huggy: He is only 3, most 3 year olds are not known for their lengthy attention span. I would suspect it probably has to do more with the instructor than your DS. Sounds like a bit of a power trip to me

I took Lex to some mom 'n tot classes when he was almost 3. It was a disaster.

What a difference a year makes. He is still far from perfect, but he listens fairly well at his swimming lessons.

I see all kinds of attention spans at the classes (for ages 3-5). The older the child then better the attention span and the listening skills.

IMHO, you need to give both of you a break.

There is a huge difference between a young 3 and an old 3.

How does he feel about the class?

Swimming lessons were a disaster last year. I am worrying about signing him up this year. Since he will be 4, I won't be in the pool with him. Thinking maybe I should skip lessons this year and work with him on my own....

He is an old 3 and has the same behavior as when he was a young 3. He has taken martial arts 2 times before, and got better as the weeks progressed. This session I was actually going to sign him up for a music class, but one day out of the blue he mentioned that he wanted to go to martial arts. He has a new teacher this session, and I don't think she is very good. I preferred his old teacher and it seems that he does too since he asks about her.

crdnlsfan............how old is your son again?

ETA: duh he's 3................ok IMO that's too much to take on right now.
